No Drama Obama

This coming Monday John McCain, Lindsay Graham, Barack Obama, and Rahm Emanuel will meet together in Chicago, hopefully to plan out a strategy how to work together in finding solutions to our crisis. If this kind of meeting of the minds happens on a regular basis during the Obama administration, it will truly be historic and bipartisan. Its smart having all ideological input into forming solutions,  And if you or I have any ideas that might work, we can go to his website and input them, pretty cool.

In fact, there has been talk about making this Presidential race into a movie. If Oliver Stone directed it, like he did W, would he call it BO?

More talk about offering the Secretary of State job to Hillary Clinton. She was my first choice for that job, but I think she would be a better fit for Health, Education, and Welfare, a better fit for her best area of expertise. I do think she should be a part of the administration, and it really depends on what she wants and what she is willing to do.

It will be a trade off come January. As Eugene Robinson commented in today's Washington Post, the  comedians will have less material to work with, but the black pundits and columnists will have fun commenting on how white folks are adjusting to following a black man. It will be four years of working out the rough spots in race relations, and the whole world will be watching.

Because democracy is chaos, and with every word and move a person makes instantly distributed and analyzed on the internet, we lead the global dialogue by example.
